the Koetshuis is an historical coach house with eclectic design

Our Koetshuis is the largest of our two venues.

The ground floor is like a large loft with dining and living area combined with a kitchen. After the entrance you will first go through the old historical stables that haven’t changed since they were built. The upper floor is modern with old historical details in the roof. At the upper floor we have six bedrooms with double beds, one bedroom with two single beds and one bedroom with single bed making eight bedrooms in total. You can see the layout of our sleeping rooms under Maps.

The Koetshuis has a large French garden including our wellness area with sauna tub and hottub. The parking area is shared with our other adjacent venue the Resident. However there is enough space.

For our ecological ambitions we were one of the first to install an heat pump in a National Monument to warm the building. With floor heating both the ground floor as well as the upper floor are warmed up. It is an historic building with heigh ceilings so be reminded that heating may be challenging at colder days. Besides the floor heating we have local infrared heating panels and a big size wood stove. Please bring always some warmer clothes to be prepared.

Also be reminded that the stairs might be steep for elderly people and that it is an historic building so especially elderly people should bring warmer clothes. Better be safe than sorry.
